New England Joint Labor Management Committee
The Employer and the Union shall establish a Labor Management Committee comprised of an equal number (up to a maximum of four (4) participants from both the Employer and the Union. The Employer shall compensate three (3) of the participants on the Union side of the committee, as outlined in 25.02. The purpose of this committee shall be to discuss issues of mutual interest to both parties, including health and safety related items, and for the purposes of establishing a harmonious working relationship between the employees, the Union and the Employer. The committee shall meet quarterly but may meet more often by mutual agreement of the parties. However, in the event either party requests to meet in conjunction with a bona fide health and safety issue(s) the parties shall meet within fifteen (15) days of such request. The Labor Management Committee shall not have the power to alter or change in anyway the provisions of this Agreement, negotiate new agreements or resolve grievances.
